April marks National Volunteer Month, a time to recognize and honor the incredible contributions of volunteers who selflessly give their time to make a positive impact. At The Furniture Project, we are deeply grateful for the volunteers who help us towards achieving our mission to deliver furniture, housewares and hope into the homes of our neighbors during their time of need. Every day, their dedication helps transform houses into homes for people across the Omaha metro experiencing a time of transition.
Our volunteers play an essential role in ensuring that the gently used furniture we receive reaches those who need it most. From sorting donations and warehouse support to providing a friendly face to clients in our office, each volunteer is an integral part of our mission. Without their hard work and generosity, we simply could not do what we do.
