Referrals
We aim to assist individuals who lack basic home furnishings that allow them to thrive. Our team prioritizes providing furniture that our neighbors are unable to obtain independently. Our goal is to deliver these essential items, like beds and mattresses to prevent children and adults from sleeping on floors. While most items are used, we maintain strict quality standards, accepting only items free of rips, stains and tears to ensure the dignity and respect of our clients.
Setting Client Expectations
Ask if they have already received assistance from TFP.
Provide a thorough and accurate list of the needed items.
Ask your client if they need delivery or if they or someone they know is able to pick up.
Inform your client of the approximate wait time and be ready to serve as the primary contact for the referral until we are ready to reach out to get them on the schedule.
Remind your client that we are donation based and cannot guarantee that any or all items will be available. Make sure they are aware of household limitations for items such as dressers and size limits for beds. The more information you give your client regarding what to expect, the more effectively we are able to serve all your clients.
We do our best to accommodate your client’s preferences. As a donation-based organization, we cannot guarantee the availability of all requested items or that all preferences will be met at the time of pick-up or delivery.

Please fill out the form below to request assistance for a client you are currently serving who is in need of essential furniture and/or housewares. We can assist your client for verified furniture and housewares needs that they are unable to obtain without our assistance. During your consultation with your client to complete our form, please emphasize the importance of requesting genuinely needed items. With nearly 200 human services agencies relying on our services, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of requests enables us to:

This form is to be completed by human service agency representatives who have already filled out our Referring Partners Form. If you have not, please do so before submitting a request. Every individual who refers clients for services should register through the form, even if the agency has already referred to TFP in the past.

Status of Referral
Now contacting referrals received between 11/1/2024 and 11/8/24.
Once we receive a referral we will send you a confirmation email that includes your client’s name, address, phone number and approximate wait time.
Please verify that the information is correct and if there are any changes update the request by clicking the button above.
We will update the “Now Contacting” section weekly with a two week time range. If you submitted a request for delivery in that time frame we should be reaching out to your client soon! If they don’t hear from us, please send us an email so we can look into it.
Updates
Updates to this form and our process will be posted here. Make sure to read this section every time you submit a request. In order to effectively serve all of your clients, we rely on our referring partners to stay up to date on our process and do the communication with your client until we are ready to get them on the schedule.
The form has changed! We are now asking case managers to fill out the form item by item based on household size and our household limits. Make sure to take you time to fill the form out thoroughly, we rely on our referring partners to provide accurate information regarding client needs.
We are no longer delivering king size beds, if your client can pick up we can distribute beds of that size per availability.
We are only able to distribute full size or Twin XL beds for single adults. Make sure your client knows this in advance and request the appropriate beds based on our household limits.
