What do you take?

While we deeply appreciate all donations, we are unable to accept items that are stained, torn, have excessive pet hair, smell of smoke or other contaminants. We are not currently picking up items that are very heavy or oversized.

We reserve the right to turn down any furniture that does not meet our guidelines. These guidelines help us maintain the standards necessary to provide families with items that are safe, clean, and in good condition.


Bed and Bath

What we take in very good condition

  • Used and New Mattresses and Box Springs

  • Metal, Adjustable Bed Frames

  • Chests of Drawers and Dressers

  • Nightstands with and without drawers

  • Linens - Gently used and new Comforters and Sheets

  • New Pillows

  • Bath Mats, Shower Curtains w/ Rings

  • Trash Bins

  • Linens - Gently used and new Towels

What we Do Not take

  • Mattresses / Box Springs with stains or tears

  • Headboards/Footboards

  • Medical Beds, Sleep Number Beds or other moving bed pieces

  • Water Beds, Captains Beds, Beds with built-in storage, etc

  • Oversized Armoires

  • Linens with stains or tears

  • Used Pillows


Living Room

What we take in very good condition

  • Sofas and Loveseats

  • Futons

  • Armchairs and Recliners

  • Bookshelves under 6-ft in height

  • Side Tables and Coffee Tables

  • TV Stands and Console Tables

  • Smart TV’s with stands and remotes

  • Lamps

  • Rugs - large and small

  • Wall Art / Mirrors

  • Throw Pillows and Blankets

What we Do Not take

  • Sleeper Sofas

  • Upholstered furniture with excessive pet hair, stains or tears

  • Nonfunctioning, broken furniture

  • Extremely heavy Recliner Sofas

  • Furniture with peeling, faux finishes

  • Bookshelves - over 6-ft in height

  • Large Entertainment Centers

  • TV’s without stands and remotes

  • Rugs with excessive pet hair or stains


Dining and Kitchen

What we take in very good condition

  • Dining Tables and Chairs

  • Rolling Carts

  • Small, Countertop Appliances (Small Microwaves, Toasters, Coffee Pots, Can Openers, Air Fryers, Kettle, etc)

  • Pots and Pans

  • Bakeware

  • Kitchen Utensils and Mixing Bowls

  • Plates and Bowls

  • Silverware

  • Drinking Glasses

  • Kitchen Linens

  • Plastic Dish Sets

  • Trash Bins

What we Do Not take

  • China Cabinets, Hutches, Large Buffets

  • Corner and Curio Cabinets

  • Nonfunctioning, broken items

  • China with metal details

  • Broken or chipped Dishes

  • Alcohol related Glassware / Barware

  • Camp Stoves and Accessories

  • Dishwashers


Other

What we take in very good condition

  • Storage Bins with Lids

  • Vacuums (fully functioning)

  • High Chairs, Crib Sheets, Baby Blankets

  • Cribs newer than 10 years

  • *Refrigerators (must be clean and fully functioning)

  • *Washer/Dryers (must be clean and fully functioning)

  • *We do not remove large appliances from the home, they must be stored in a garage or curbside for pickup

What we Do Not take

  • Large Office Furniture and Rolling Chairs

  • Medical Equipment

  • Exercise Equipment

  • Recreation Tables (Pool, Foosball, etc)

  • Pianos and other Musical Instruments

  • House Fixtures (Lights, Cabinets, etc)

  • Patio Furniture

  • Car Seats

  • Children’s Toys / Stuffed Animals
