Celebrating Labor Day

This day reminds us of the strength and unity that drive us forward. In observance of Labor Day, we will be closed 8/30, 8/31 & 9/2.

Labor Day isn't just for relaxation; it's a chance to honor those whose hard work fuels progress and innovation in our society. Every person, regardless of demographics, plays a vital role in our community. And we know that our neighbors are better able to contribute when they have the furniture they need to live well and thrive.

This day reminds us of the strength and unity that drive us forward. As we celebrate Labor Day this year, we want to express solidarity with neighbors who may currently be struggling.

The Furniture Project was founded as a way to serve our fellow human, and we believe that by supporting each other, we can make meaningful change in our community. This Labor Day, we not only celebrate workers' achievements but also the spirit of cooperation that creates positive change in the world around us.

We are grateful for all of those who have supported our work through an abundance of furniture donations, financial contributions and volunteer hours. In the spirit of unity, we encourage everyone to give back to their communities, whether through volunteering, advocating for workers' rights or simply showing appreciation. Each act, big or small, strengthens our connection to each other.

This Labor Day let's celebrate our shared humanity and commit to respecting the dignity of all of our neighbors. Learn more about how you can get involved with The Furniture Project.
